CALL FOR ARTWORK:

• Please read carefully as submissions that do not follow the guidelines will be disqualified from the exhibit.
• All works that follow the guidelines will be accepted into this exhibition.

THE ART:

• Artists may submit one or more 12" x 12" canvas or board, no more than 1" in depth.
• Painting, drawing, photographic transfer, oil pastel, collage – any medium that does not extend the surface beyond 3/4" in depth may be submitted.
• Artwork must be ready for hanging flat on the wall from the back of the piece, hanging hardware included.  No frames larger than 12" x 12" are acceptable.
• Twelve inch square canvases will be available for sale in the CoSM Store and on the CoSM website but may  be purchased anywhere.

THE FEE:

•  A fee of $25 per 12" square canvas/board must accompany the artwork.
•  A check or money order for the total amount is acceptable. No cash, please.
• Personal check or money order must have the artist's name, address and phone number on the check.
• Credit card payment may be made online.

AFFIX TO THE BACK:

• Artwork must have the following information affixed to the back of each artwork and on a separate piece of paper.
Full name • Address • Email address • Title of artwork • Medium • Date of artwork • Sale price (gallery takes 50%).
Please type and print all of the information.

SALE OF ARTWORK:

• Artist assign the SALE PRICE of their artwork(s).
• MicroCoSM Gallery will keep 50% of proceeds on all sales.

DROP OFF ARTWORK:

During gallery hours only, Tues - Sat 11am - 6pm

• Mailed artwork must arrive BETWEEN Wednesday., May 21, 2008 – Saturday., July 26, 2008
• Artwork drop off – MicroCoSM Gallery from TUES., MAY 21st  – JULY 26, 2008
• Works that arrive BEFORE or AFTER that date will NOT be included in the exhibition.

RETURN BY MAIL:

• Artwork must be accompanied by a large self-addressed stamped padded envelope (or box) for return. Padded envelopes will be available for sale in the CoSM Store and online, but may be purchased anywhere. Be sure correct postage and clear return address are on the return envelope or box. MicroCoSM Gallery will not be responsible for items unreturnable due to insufficient postage or address.
• A Fed Ex slip with return information with account number may be submitted with the art work along with padded envelope.
• Artwork will be bubble-wrapped for shipping.
• CoSM will NOT be responsible for damage in return.

PLEASE DO NOT USE P.O. BOX FOR RETURNS WE WILL NOT RETURN YOUR ART IF YOU DO.

PICK-UP ARTWORK:

During gallery hours only, Tues - Sat 11am - 6pm
• Pick up – Tues., Sept. 4 - Tues., Sept. 11
• Artwork without return postage will be kept for 30
days following the closing of the exhibition and then discarded.
