MicroCoSM Gallery is proud to present our Zena Grey uses photography of the private lives of her peers to create intricate paper lacework. An actor and artist living in Brooklyn, Zena's work was recently honored in a city-wide art competition of young artists exhibited at New York's City Hall. www.zenagrey.com Eli Morgan graduated from the School of Visual Arts, New York City in 1999. As an international art director, photographer and graphic designer, he is committed to world transformation, through awareness, art, and design. Eli is also the Creative Director and Chief Designer for CoSM Press, co-founder of CoSM; Journal of Visionary Culture, and Events Coordinator for CoSM, associated with Alex Grey and the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in NYC. www.psythos.com Paul Crisafi is a painter, tile artist and builder, responsible for building much of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Paul has studied art with Alex Grey and participates in "live" painting at Entheocentric Salons held at CoSM. John Lloyd was born in Kyoto, Japan, in 1955. Growing up in the Far East and later adapting to life in the United States has led him to a continual study of art and culture from around the world, particularly folk art and traditional devotional art. John's paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the Northeast and in Europe. He received a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University. New York City native Peter Terezakis has been using light in his work since 1979. Since the summer of 1996 he has been creating and photographing temporary kinetic light installations in Europe and the United States. As an ex-pat living in San Diego since 2001, his monthly full moon expeditions conjure landscapes of mystery and imagination. Terezakis has devoted much of his creative career to promoting the use of interactive technologies in visual art. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York, University of California in San Diego, and has just been featured in Bruce Wands' new book, Art of the Digital Age. Recent works can be viewed at terezakis.com Karin Aguirre explores intersections of art and fashion with interest in the transcendental elements of tribal and alternative street culture. Her current work in screen printing and stencil painting evolve from these explorations. Born in Santiago, Chile, Aguirre has lived in New York since the age of five, where she is completing a BFA from FIT. She has worked as an artist Assistant for Debra Hampton and produced a fashion show, and she is a gallery assistant for the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Amy Angeles has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The College of New Rochelle. She is a painter, sculptor, and filmmaker. She has exhibited her art and film work in over a dozen exhibitions and on independent television networks. Abstraction and form come together in the artist’s current series of paintings, (in progress) that features figurative forms that seem to emerge from abstract textures."In my work I express the idea that life is flourishing all around us and if we would just awaken to the present moment, our minds would open to the myriad of possibilities and radiant bliss available to us. She is currently the design assistant to Eli Morgan of CoSM as well as a freelance airbrush artist.
